Travel by Coach to Samford Village where you will have 3 hours to saunter through the village.
First stop, why not visit The Slab Hut, where you will find a wide range of handmade craft and art works for you to admire. Some of the artisans who have hand crafted these works are on hand daily. A great place to pick up a gift of even treat yourself to something nice.
Then saunter on through the John Scott Park to the Samford Museum, it showcases a large variety of objects, displays and stories from the district's past. There is so much to see. After the old, something newer – the Store of Requirement!! Harry Potter lovers will be entranced by this place, with Australia's largest range of officially licensed Harry Potter merchandise. You can even have a Butterscotch Brew.
If lunch is knocking at the door, why not try the Flying Nun Cafe, not far from the Store of Requirement, or if you are feeling fit, there are many other choices along Main Street. Check out Collies & Co.....a cafe catering for diners and their four legged friends or simply have a homemade picnic in the park.
After lunch we will board our coach for a very short trip up the road to the weekly Farmers Market at Millen Farm where you can stock up on beautiful fresh produce.
